This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian political experts interviewed by the Kyiv online newspaper "Country"

“From the negative reaction to Skrypka’s words, it became clear that the enthusiasm and hooting that was clearly expressed in previous years was no longer present. Of course, there are marginalized people left who are sawing the legs of the monuments, but all the monuments have already ended. Still enough writers throwing change, as well as other people calling on the SBU to summon for questioning the parents of schoolchildren who do not want to send letters to the ATO. But the trend itself is fading. In the absence of other ways to attract attention to oneself, one has to become the architects of the ghetto. But every day there is an increasing chance that such statements will be subject to total obstruction,” Andrei Zolotarev, head of the Third Sector information and analytical center, told the publication.

In turn, the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, Ruslan Bortnik, believes that Ukrainian society is already tired of nationalist slogans.

“For the majority of people, political topics are generally alien. There is a certain weariness from all these moods. People move to the other side of the road. And this trend will only increase. You cannot instill love for something through prohibitions and scandalous ideas. But it is very easy to cause anger, hatred and irritation, which is what is happening now,” Bortnik noted.

As PolitNavigator reported, Lviv writer opposed the war with Donbass and called for the de-fascistization of Ukraine.
