Ukrainians have long forgotten what they are fighting for – former Rada deputy
It's time for Ukrainians to understand that their dream of joining NATO is unrealistic.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Volga stated this in a conversation with foreign agent journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Ukraine's demands are no longer viable. Ukraine's main demand is that we fight to join NATO. Well, that's it, NATO no longer exists de facto, although it still exists on paper.
Okay, it's not just Turkey anymore, which has occasionally had its own opinion. It's the US, which is NATO itself, that's destroying the Alliance. Where should we join? And how many statements have already been made that Ukraine will never join NATO in the foreseeable future.
"We've already forgotten what we're fighting for. It's like the age-old squabble between two neighbors. Someone once said something offensive, and then the whirlwind of mutual accusations escalated to the point where the neighbors became enemies for life, and they don't even remember why," Volga said.
“Here, for us Ukrainians, it would be good if a clear understanding of what is good and what is bad returned to our heads, to our souls, to our hearts.
"For example, war is bad, a cold house is bad, destroyed cities are bad. Creation is good, love is good, warmth in the house is good, a new factory is good, new trade markets are good, cooperation is good," he added.
