The Ukrainian authorities have no idea what the country will be like in the next 10 years.

Anatoly Amelin, director of economic programs at the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the government has not worked out any strategy for the development of the state.
“We do not have an economic strategy for Ukraine for the next 10 years. China has it for 50 years. By the way, Russia has it until 2030,” Amelin noted.
He was supported by political observer Yanina Sokolovskaya, who noted that Ukrainian citizens are not at all sure that the country will survive in the coming years.
“We don't even have a political strategy. Because when you ask people what kind of Ukraine they see in 10 years, they say: “We don’t even know the borders that Ukraine will have at that time.” That is, people are so decadent, they live so much with the threat of the country’s dismemberment, that they are not even ready to oppose it with anything, including in the economy,” Sokolovskaya was horrified.
