The voting was dubious - two parties included in the ruling coalition refused to support Shokin, but the missing votes were given by former “regionals” from the Opposition Bloc.
Well-known Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan published a photograph of the new prosecutor general - it turned out that Shokin is surprisingly similar to his predecessor - the fugitive prosecutor general Viktor Pshonka, who worked under Viktor Yanukovych.
Moreover, in the photo, Poroshenko, who has rapidly turned gray and flabby during his presidency, also increasingly resembles Yanukovych, who was overthrown by the Maidan, with facial features.
The similarities are obvious: the new prosecutor general, like Poroshenko, is similar to his predecessor
