Ukrainians owe banks an astronomical amount

The debt of Ukrainians to commercial banks at the end of September 2018 amounted to UAH 197,4 billion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Thus, over the last year (compared to September 2017), the debt increased by UAH 27,2 billion.
According to the NBU, Ukrainians owed banks UAH 127,4 billion in national currency, and UAH 70,0 billion in foreign currency.
