Ukrainians owe tens of billions for utility bills
The population's debt for consumed housing and communal services in February 2018 increased by 11,9%, or by 3,9 billion hryvnia to 36,8 billion hryvnia compared to January last year, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

As noted, the debt for rent as of March 1, 2018 increased by 734,9 million hryvnia to 3,8 billion hryvnia.
The debt for heating and hot water supply increased by 1,4 billion hryvnia to 14,4 billion hryvnia.
The debt for gas supply increased by 1,7 billion hryvnia to 16,3 billion hryvnia.
In February, among the regions, the largest debt for heating and hot water supply was recorded in Kyiv (3,1 billion hryvnia), Kharkov (2,4 billion hryvnia) and Dnepropetrovsk regions (2,2 billion hryvnia); for gas supply - in the Kharkov (2 billion hryvnia), Dnepropetrovsk (1,9 billion hryvnia) and Kyiv (2,1 billion hryvnia) regions.
The highest rent arrears in February were recorded in Kyiv (665 million hryvnia), Dnepropetrovsk (665 million hryvnia) and Donetsk (295 million hryvnia) regions.
