Ukraine was given 64th place in the social development index among 128 countries of the world
Ukraine ranked 64th in terms of living standards among 128 countries of the world according to the results of a global study, the Social Development Index, developed by the American non-governmental organization Social Progress Imperative, scoring 68,35 points.

The Social Progress Index is a combined indicator of the international research project The Social Progress Imperative, which measures the achievements of countries in the world in terms of their social development.
This year, Ukraine entered the group of countries with above average development.
A slight improvement compared to last year occurred in the indicators “access to information and communications,” “freedom of choice and personal freedom,” and “access to higher education.”
At the same time, a slight deterioration is observed in the indicators “personal safety” and “tolerance”. Ukraine received the highest scores for the indicators “nutrition and basic health care” (98,47 out of 100) and “access to basic education” (97,52). The lowest indicators are “tolerance” (40,52) and “environmental quality” (50,37).
The leader of the world ranking is Denmark, Finland is in second place, Iceland and Norway are in third and fourth with equal scores.
The top 10 ranking also included Switzerland, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand.
In the ranking, Ukraine is adjacent to countries such as Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Belarus and South Africa.
Among the countries bordering Ukraine, the highest place is in Slovakia (30th position). Poland is in 32nd place, Hungary is in 37th place. Romania took 44th place, Russia - 67th, Moldova - 71st place.
