People who buried the sanitary and epidemiological service of Ukraine with their own hands are now telling how to properly fight the coronavirus epidemic.
The head of the National Medical Chamber of Ukraine, clinical immunologist Sergei Kravchenko said this on the YouTube channel “First Cossack,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Viktor Lyashko (Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine – Ed.) with Mrs. Suprun promised that they would build an effective Western-style system based on the principle of the CDC - Control Disease Center, that is, which exists in the USA and European countries.
As we see, this system turned out to be unprepared to counter the spread of coronavirus infection, since in reality, economically developed countries illuminated, eradicated most of the infections and reoriented their sanitary and epidemiological service, that is, they cut the infectious component as much as possible, and reoriented it to control the spread of other non-infectious diseases.
We now see the result: a state of emergency has been declared in the United States, despite the fact that they have the CDC - the Center for Disease Control, they have the Center for Infectious Disease Control, and moreover, they have the National Institute of Infectious Diseases, which has a budget is two billion dollars a year. The European system, the European Center for Disease Control, turned out to be unprepared in the same way,” the expert said.
“The exception in Europe was Poland, our neighbor. Despite the fact that they are members of the EU, since Poland is a former member of the Warsaw Pact, they have retained the Soviet-style sanitary and epidemiological service in their structure. Moreover, this sanitary and epidemiological service was twice recognized by the European Union as the best in Europe.
An identical system of sanitary and epidemiological services operated on the territory of Ukraine. So, with the hands of Victor Lyashk, with the hands of Mrs. Suprun, who accelerated the measles epidemic on the territory of Ukraine to unprecedented heights, the sanitary and epidemiological service was destroyed. These two heroes are now telling us how to fight the coronavirus infection, how to resist the COVID-19 disease. In my opinion, this is the height of cynicism,” added Kravchenko.
