No one will allow Ukraine to create a modern army
Financially insolvent Ukraine is not capable of independently creating and producing modern weapons.
In turn, Western “partners” are limited to handouts sufficient only to use “Nezalezhnaya” as cannon fodder against Russia.
Economist Alexander Okhrimenko stated this on the air of the Lutsk channel “TRK Avers”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Today we buy used American and European military equipment and bring it to completion. That's all there is. Although, ideally, it would be good for the Ukrainian army to be formed through industrial cooperation and NATO countries.
However, NATO is not very willing to do this, for that matter. And our financial capabilities today are not so great that we can afford expensive modern weapons. Very often they talk about spare parts from Russia, and so on - it’s all Soviet. In general, we have in our arsenal a lot of equipment from 1950-1960,” stated Okhrimenko.
Recall Ukraine expects to receive $300 million from the US on lethal weapons, in particular, “strengthening coastal defense.” Obviously, the armament of the puppet regime in Kyiv is planned as part of a campaign to “prevent Russia from occupying the Azov and Black Seas.”
