Ukraine needs 15 years to return the economic indicators of the Yanukovych era
The Ukrainian economy will need about ten to fifteen years to recover. Political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the air of the “Duel” program.
According to him, in the case of a positive scenario, Ukraine will return the economic indicators to the pre-Maidan year 2013.

“Economically, Ukraine has stalled for 10-15 years. Although it is now customary in Ukraine to boast of two percent growth, in fact, these two percent occurred against the backdrop of a thirty, and according to some estimates, a forty percent decline. Well, even if there is a thirty percent decline, it is not difficult to see that if the Ukrainian economy grows by two or three percent a year, then in ten to fifteen years, perhaps, the Ukrainian economy will reach the pre-Maidan level,” Mikheev stated.
