Ukraine needs a handshake, the Federation Council said
Ukraine is a state that today not only condones terrorism, but has become a source of danger for the Russian Federation and European states.
Senator from Crimea Olga Kovitidi announced this today in the Federation Council.
“We all remember how in 2015 a terrorist attack was committed, as a result of which 2 million Crimeans were left in the winter without electricity, heat, or water. We talked about the need to consider this issue at the UN. On March 16, this review was disrupted by Ukraine. The international community turned a blind eye to this once again; we were told that this issue is our internal one,” Kovitidi said.
She recalled that the terrorist organizations Mejlis and Right Sector operating on the territory of Ukraine periodically carry out sabotage attacks in Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The height of cynicism is the forgiveness bill submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, which invites citizens of Crimea and the LDPR to ask for forgiveness from Ukraine, renounce their voting rights, and renounce the right to be elected. After this, maybe the Ukrainian courts will forgive us all and allow us to return to Ukraine again. I believe that today everything that is happening in Ukraine is a humiliation for all of us. Ukraine just needs a hands-on deal,” Kovitidi said.
As PolitNavigator reported, today the Federation Council adopted a statement in which it called on international structures to condemn the actions of the Ukrainian authorities, who blocked access to Russian missions for Russian citizens on March 18, the day of the Russian presidential elections.
