Ukraine is promised a huge fire
In the global confrontation between international players, Ukraine turned out to be just one of the hot spots, which does not bode well for the country.
The director of the Foundation for Humanitarian Strategies, Mikhail Pavliv, said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, according to whom the international agenda, in particular the worsening of Russian-British relations, leaves a “huge imprint” on Ukrainian processes.
“We find ourselves between Scylla and Charybdis - this is too soft and reassuring an interpretation. We find ourselves caught between geopolitical plates, if you like. The world is heating up, we can all see it. And, unfortunately, Ukraine is one of the hot spots, one of the frontiers, one of the trench zones. And this does not bode well for us,” the political scientist is convinced. “If the world warms up, we’ll not only have a hot day, we’ll have a fire.”
