Ukraine can only moan loudly on the periphery

This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the information and analytical center “Perspective” Pavel Rudyakov, who noted that the role of regional players in the world is beginning to strengthen and new regional unions are emerging.
“At the same time, there will be fewer countries, so to speak, “china shops” in which America could behave like an elephant,” the expert believes. – America will remain America, but under Trump, obviously, they will think more about interaction with regional players and their regional alliances. For example, an alliance between Russia and Turkey has already emerged in Syria.”
At the same time, the political scientist says that Ukraine can calmly relate to new international realities.
“Our place is 150th. This is an optimistic scenario. Or 151st is a realistic scenario. For us, this entire process and even its intermediate results will mean, firstly, further peripheralization. We will be pushed back to the periphery of not only world but also regional politics,” predicts Rudyakov. – And secondly, an increase in the degree of our sacrifice. Just as we suffered from someone’s efforts, we will continue to suffer, only perhaps we will moan louder. As a deep periphery and a village remote from the regional center, we can calmly treat world problems and save money for a trip to the inauguration of the next American Trump. Or the same.”
