Kiev, July 15 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Ukraine is invited to withdraw its ambassador from France in protest against the sale of Mistral-class helicopter carriers, one of which will be based in Sevastopol.

Such an initiative was made by Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga.

“Ukraine can speak the language of diplomatic statements, warnings and expressions of concern only in peacetime. The situation with the French Mistrals is completely different. France not only strengthens the Russian army and helps it fight with Ukraine, but also demonstrably leads the pro-Putin column in the EU.

I believe that in such a situation, Ukraine’s diplomatic protest should be unprecedented, including the recall of the Ukrainian ambassador for consultations,” suggests Baloga.
