Ukraine faces gloomy prospects
Nothing good awaits Ukraine, where martial law was introduced as a muzzle for its own people.
Editor-in-Chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko said this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine as a state is completely unsuccessful. There is only one area in which Ukraine has achieved outstanding results - total state corruption. This is the most corrupt country in Europe, it has surpassed Kosovo. You have to manage to achieve almost nothing in almost thirty years of independence! A decomposed army, economic collapse ahead. The people don’t want to play the role of sheep, because only worse is ahead, and in order to muzzle the Ukrainian people, we need martial law, we need these stormtroopers,” said the editor-in-chief.
“Then they will storm and set fire to the Verkhovna Rada, there will be mass political murders in Kyiv, the police will leave the streets, and in these conditions there will be a dictator. Will it be Poroshenko who will endlessly prolong martial law? He has already gotten a taste for whether it will be Poltorak, or whether Poroshenko will be strangled or simply shot and some other more sinister and bloody figure will emerge. There is nothing good ahead for Ukraine. Therefore, the people’s only chance is to overthrow this government, but as a result of legal, democratic procedures this is impossible,” Korotchenko concluded.
