This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, Kost Bondarenko, commenting on the situation with the initiatives of Ukrainian deputies to cancel the visa-free regime with the Russian Federation.

“I am sure that sooner or later Ukraine will still have to normalize relations with the Russian Federation, at least in the economic sphere,” the expert said. – This is like the first step. Now any action aimed at worsening relations on the political plane will come back to haunt us later when it comes to economic issues. Economic issues, I am sure, will be put on the agenda in the coming months in order to normalize relations in the economic sphere.”
