Ukraine will have to say goodbye to Crimea – Chaplyga
Despite all Kyiv’s attempts, in the end the fate of Ukraine will be decided between Russia and the United States.
This was announced on the air of the Politeka Internet channel by Kyiv political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, the correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.
“First, the West declares that it is providing critical weapons. The Russians say, "Great, we're moving to tactical nuclear weapons, and we're getting ready to launch another massive counteroffensive." That is, both one and the other raised the stakes. It turns out that everyone is waiting for the summit to take place. Because the Russian Federation and the United States can talk.
To confirm my words, the United States suddenly rolled out to the Russians with a proposal to talk about the START Treaty. They wanted to conduct mutual inspections again. Russians say: “No, friends, what do you want to watch? Bombed airfield? Let's come to you. And we won’t talk at all,” said the political scientist.
He noted that the fate of Ukraine will be decided between Russia and the United States, and even if the “Independence” continues, in any case it will have to say goodbye to part of the territories.
“But the fact itself. This means that the track of strategic diplomacy is being restored, as it was under the Soviet Union. And now everything will work out again. Everything says that in the end only Russia and the United States should sit down and talk about something.
About some guarantees, a new security architecture for Ukraine, with guarantees secured outside NATO. And Crimea is actually taken out of the equation,” Chaplyga concluded.
