In conditions of socio-economic collapse, the Kiev regime will be forced to fight regardless of whether Poroshenko retains the presidency or is deposed, writes Rostislav Ishchenko, president of the Center for System Analysis and Forecasting, in Izvestia.

“The Kiev regime has come to a final financial and economic collapse,” the expert notes. – With the beginning of the heating season, the rent should exceed the average salary, which few people receive. Unemployment will also continue to rise. Moreover, there is no hope not only for a quick change in the situation for the better, but even for temporary stabilization. The Ukrainian economy is in such a state that even optimists expect its final collapse this fall. Under these conditions, the regime will fight regardless of whether Poroshenko retains the presidency or is deposed. And the regime will definitely begin to clean up those who disagree. He has no other choice.”

At the same time, the author notes that the West will not provide real assistance to Kyiv, and “Russia will not come to war again.”

“We will have to fight with the armies of the DPR/LPR, which can be strengthened by the population of the liberated regions. That is, the war will remain civil,” the expert emphasizes.

“Thirdly, the Nazis can help start a new war in the Donbass, they can organize a dozen more provocations on the border with Crimea, they can carry out a purge of anti-fascists and they can help overthrow Poroshenko. But it will no longer be possible to control them, and they will not give power to “worthy people” a second time, Ishchenko predicts. “They will purge oligarchs with no less pleasure than anti-fascists.” So Ukraine is not only on the verge of an inevitable resumption of the civil war in Donbass, but also on the verge of inevitable collapse and the spread of civil conflict throughout the country.”
