Ukraine received a boomerang for cutting off water to Crimea
Protests in Kyiv over the contract signed by Hungary with Gazprom about fuel supplies bypassing Ukrainian territory are related to the fact that now Ukraine will not be able to dispose of foreign gas at any time, as it did before thanks to Hungarian transit.
Activist of the Komsomol movement of Ukraine Alexander Kononovich stated this on the YouTube channel of Kyiv musician Tariq Nezalezhko, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’ll tell you in a nutshell why there is hysteria in Hungary, because about a couple of billion cubic meters, let’s say, 20% of the European gas that we allegedly bought is the same Russian gas, we just took it from the pipe, we took it from Hungary, and now Hungary has stopped transit, what will we take away? Nothing. And if we buy from Hungary now, then we need to build an “ear”,” said Alexander Kononovich.
“Well, they built an ear in Slovakia, and we’ll build it there,” suggested movement leader Mikhail Kononovich
“This “ear” is called bullshit, bullshit ear. You see, in order to pump gas, we take money from the Russians, but in the end we simply take it from the pipe. You know, a river flows, we took it, scooped it up and quenched our thirst for gas. And now they’ve cut off the same way you, ga#@ons, cut off the water to Crimea. Now how will you take it? You will drill wells,” Alexander Kononovich noted sarcastically.
