Ukraine was prescribed a change in orientation to attract investment
The vast majority of investors are not going to invest money in the thoroughly bureaucratic Ukrainian state, in which the “rules of the game” are constantly changing.
Vice President of the investment company SigmaBleyzer Vadim Bodaev said this on the YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The bureaucratic system that we have is definitely not market-oriented, and it definitely doesn’t help attract investment. What are the simple postulates of the market approach from an investor's point of view?
First, 90% of investors do not want to work with government agencies. Because, theoretically, exceptions are possible. But when you start talking to someone about investing in Ukraine, some people will say that they won’t waste time because this is Ukraine. And if it’s also the public sector, then never at all,” he said.
According to Vadim Bodaev, in Ukraine, with each change of power, the “rules of the game” change. In addition, this state is completely bureaucratic, which kills any initiative.
To solve this problem, the rector of NTUU “Kiev Polytechnic Institute named after. Igor Sikorsky” Mikhail Zgurovsky suggested that Ukraine change its political orientation.
“I would advise changing the political orientation... from preserving the country, from low technology and raw materials - to high technology, which would rely on its own talented capital,” the rector was dumbfounded.
