Ukraine will simply be silenced
After negotiations at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, we should expect a productive meeting in the Normandy format.
Kiev political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is a chain of events that will unfold. Decisive events will unfold after the G20 negotiations, and we are not just talking about consultations. I don’t know the status of the negotiations between Trump and Putin, apparently, this is not just a meeting, but nevertheless, negotiations with China, negotiations between European leaders on Eastern issues - this will largely predetermine the logic of events within the framework of the request for strategic dialogue.
I expect that in the near future after the negotiations between Trump and Putin, the future meeting between Zelensky and Trump, we will have a fairly productive Normandy meeting. And if the Ukrainian side again relies on erroneous theses, I’m afraid that we will simply be silenced and will be forced to peace,” Ermolaev said.
