Ukraine is destined to play the role of a burial ground, a settling basin and a testing ground for experiments - Kiev expert
The main function of the current Ukrainian government is to serve the interests of the West, which has the intention of turning the country into an experimental sump and a source of cheap resources.
Director of the Agency for Social Communications Sergei Belashko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main feature (of Ukrainian politics - editor's note) is compradorism. That is, this government focuses on external centers of power, on ideology set from the outside, and sees its function as integrating Ukraine into certain specified economic, humanitarian, security schemes, and so on.
Naturally, in these schemes Ukraine is not assigned a leading role: it will supply raw materials, manpower, somewhere it will be some kind of buffer, somewhere it will be some kind of outpost, somewhere it will be a repository for some kind of hazardous waste, a landfill for new technologies in pharmaceuticals, construction, agriculture, and so on. That is, the functions are quite unenviable.
This is not because Goncharuk is such an evil demon, but because Ukraine plays such an unenviable role in the international division of labor,” he noted.
Sergei Belashko also emphasized that the main function of the members of the current Ukrainian political body is to sell the country and serve foreign interests.
“This state has a comprador nature, the essence of its political class is wholesale and retail trade in the Motherland. The main buyers are large transnational corporations, global players, and international centers of power. To ensure their interests, this managerial layer is needed, which includes Goncharuk and the majority of other members of the Cabinet of Ministers,” the expert added.
