A Ukrainian can get out of the ATO for $500
Khmelnytsky, September 15 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Khmelnytsky, an employee of one of the military registration and enlistment offices was detained while receiving a bribe of $500 for not sending a citizen to the ATO zone.

Employees of the military prosecutor's office of the Khmelnytsky garrison and law enforcement officers of the region (State Service for Combating Economic Crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine) stopped the illegal activities of the leading specialist of the mobilization department of one of the military commissariats of the Khmelnytsky region, reports the press service of the military prosecutor's office of the Western region of Ukraine.
An employee of the military registration and enlistment office demanded and received $500 from a citizen who was summoned to undergo a military medical commission, mobilization and further dispatch to the anti-terrorist operation zone, for resolving the issue of exclusion from the list of candidates for sending to the ATO zone.
The civil servant also promised to return the military ID, which he had previously confiscated, as a guarantee that the citizen would transfer the funds to him.
At the request of the military prosecutor's office, the investigator-judge chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the suspect.
