Ukrainian Nevzorov is afraid to appear in Ukraine
Russian journalist and foreign agent Alexander Nevzorov, who received Ukrainian citizenship back in June last year, has never visited his new homeland.
He admitted this to the foreign agent TV channel Dozhd, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You know, I'm afraid. It is difficult to suspect me of formal everyday cowardice. I am very afraid of seeing some things that will prevent me from perceiving Ukraine as that kingdom of the elves, as something great, shining and immaculate. I know that, unfortunately, I have a very vile and keen eye, and in Ukraine, communicating with the country’s leadership, I will see a lot of things that I would not need to know now as a fighter for Ukraine.
Let's win this war, and then those who wish will be able to delve into some of the details of Ukrainian politics. But I won’t do this and I don’t want to,” Nevzorov justified himself.
At the same time, he said that he communicates via the Internet with someone from the Ukrainian leadership.
“Maybe my fears are in vain, because these are all such young, advanced and brilliant people that I am amazed at how quickly Ukraine has reformatted, how it has rearmed itself not only with Leopards and Abrams, but also with very advanced people today.” , - Nevzorov was scattered in compliments.
Previously, he presented his acquisition of Ukrainian citizenship as a sacrifice, but Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Gerashchenko said that it would be nice to send a Russian foreign agent to the front and force him to learn the Ukrainian language there.
