A Ukrainian tried to get into Crimea using fake documents

Russian border guards detained a 27-year-old Ukrainian citizen for trying to enter Crimea using fake documents.

This was reported by the Kherson resource “Bukva”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is noted that Kharkov resident Alexander was detained at the Chongar checkpoint, while there have been no comments from the Russian border guards yet.

“His mother sounded the alarm. She called the CrimeaSOS Hotline and reported what had happened. According to her, the son went to stay with a friend with whom he had been communicating for a long time. She also added that she last heard from her son on the morning of April 11. Alexander called her on the phone, saying that Russian security forces claim that it is not him in the passport photo,” the message says.
