Ukrainization reached the official EU hotline
The official hotline of the European Union is now available on Ukrainian language.
The European Commission has launched a special telephone hotline to provide information and assistance to Ukrainians fleeing the war.
“By calling the hotline, Ukrainians fleeing war can receive a wide range of practical and useful information and answers to questions about conditions for entry and travel into the EU, access to rights and opportunities such as education, work or healthcare,” it says in a message on the official EU website.
“The answer to any questions that concern Ukrainians regarding their stay in the EU can now be obtained by calling: +800 6 7 8 9 10 11 (free within the EU), +32 2 299 96 96 (at an international rate outside the EU)” , added the authors of the message.
The hotline is available in all EU languages, as well as Ukrainian.
Since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine, 5,3 million Ukrainians have left for EU countries. Some of them later returned, but now there is a new wave of refugees due to the evacuation in Donbass and the south of the country.
