Ukrainization on the march: under the pretext of “lack of demand,” the Russian language assessment test was canceled
In Ukraine, the creeping forced Ukrainization of education continues. Thus, external independent assessment (analogous to the Russian Unified State Exam-Ed) in the Russian language was cancelled. According to ministerial officials, the reason for the cancellation was supposedly “low demand” for it among future students. The Ukrainian Center for Assessment of the Quality of Education announced the dates for the EIT-2018 and officially confirmed that the Russian language was excluded from the list of subjects for the test this year.

This was stated by the director of the Ukrainian Center for Assessment of the Quality of Education Vadim Karandiy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Due to the fact that the volume of orders for this test was low. The Russian language stands alongside other languages that exist in Ukraine, in particular Polish, Hungarian, Romanian and Moldavian, for which we do not test. It’s just brought in line with other languages,” Karandiy said.
The main session of this year's External Independent Examination should begin on May 22 with testing in mathematics and will last until June 13, when the External External Examination in chemistry will take place.
At the same time, ministerial officials are refuted by sociologists' data. In particular, according to recent opinion polls, every third resident of Ukraine wants to introduce Russian as the state language.
According to Odessa politician, head of the Union of Anarchists of Ukraine party Vyacheslav Azarov, the current Kiev regime thus not only makes it difficult for Ukrainian youth to study in Russia, but also condemns them to unskilled work there.
“In Europe, she washes pots and sweats on an assembly line. And now, without a decent level of language, the same fate awaits her in Russia. This is despite the fact that there is less and less work in Ukraine itself. Apparently, the creation of a nation of lackeys is an idea fixed by the Maidan regime,” sums up Azarov..
Interestingly, in sync with Ukrainian nationalists from education, according to media reports, the Latvian government supported the translation of all schools in the country into the Latvian language.
