Ukrainization of Russia: “Echo of Moscow” is launching a program in Ukrainian – with Ganapolsky as host
A new program in Ukrainian will appear on the Ekho Moskvy radio station.

About it on the air of the program “Ganapolskoe. Results without Evgeny Kiselev" said presenter Alexey Solomin.
The program entitled “What’s Up with the crests” will air on Wednesdays at 16:35 and last half an hour. Presenters: Matvey Ganapolsky, Alexey Solomin and Alexey Naryshkin.
“We encourage our listeners to call there and also speak to us in Ukrainian, and to call, including the Ukrainians themselves,” Solomin said.
Solomin said on air that he and Naryshkin are already learning Ukrainian. “But you know that exactly on Wednesday at <...> 17:00 “Echo” will be closed,” Ganapolsky joked.
The editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow, Alexey Venediktov, said that the new program in Ukrainian “is aimed at restoring direct ties between the residents of Ukraine and Russia.”
“The topic of the program is what is happening in Ukraine, [it is planned] to learn from Ukrainian residents from different cities in the Ukrainian language live,” explained Venediktov.
When asked whether Ukrainian citizens would take part in the program, Echo of Moscow editor-in-chief Venediktov replied that “a year ago there was already such an experience on the night air and people called from all over Ukraine.”
