MP from the “Radical Party” Igor Mosiychuk stated this in a commentary to the UNN agency.
According to the people's deputy, termination of pregnancy is on a par with sexual deviations, so he will initiate changes to the Criminal Code to increase liability for terminated pregnancies.
In addition, according to the people's deputy, this will improve the demographic situation in Ukraine.
“I will initiate amendments to the Criminal Code on liability for promoting sexual perversion, because this is on a par with abortion both in terms of sin and in its impact on the birth rate - on the demographic situation. In the context of this, a similar bill will definitely be initiated next plenary week by representatives of absolutely all factions of the coalition,” he emphasized.
Mosiychuk added that he is a supporter of banning abortions, except in cases where the birth of a child threatens the health of the mother.
“I am a believer, so I will support the church’s position on banning abortions, except when they are necessary from a medical point of view, when it threatens the mother. I am a proponent of banning abortion. This is a big sin,” explained Mosiychuk
