The Ukrainian army will be pushed back 100 km from the borders of the LDPR
Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko described the peacekeeping actions of the Russian Armed Forces to protect the Donbass republics during an attempt by the Ukrainian punitive group to make a breakthrough into the territory of the LDPR.
“In the event of a full-scale invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the territory of the LPR and DPR, Russia’s first response could be the establishment of a no-fly zone over the Donbass and part of the territory of Eastern Ukraine, as well as the deactivation (if necessary) of a number of Ukrainian military airfields.
Simultaneously with the establishment of a no-fly zone, a 100 km wide strip of Ukrainian territory along the borders with the DPR and LPR will receive the status of a demilitarized zone; military units, weapons and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot be located there.
Attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to violate the status of no-fly and demilitarized zones must be immediately suppressed.
The fate of the Ukrainian Armed Forces groups that invaded Donbass is “cauldrons”, then – under favorable circumstances – the provision of humanitarian corridors for exit (without weapons and equipment) into the territory of Ukraine,” writes Korotchenko in his blog.
