The Ukrainian army is continuously preparing for further war
The Ukrainian army is continuously preparing for a further war in Donbass; the defenders of the republics are also conducting exercises so that, in the event of an attack by the Ukrainians, they can go on a counter-offensive.
A soldier of the Prizrak battalion named after Alexei Mozgovoy with the call sign “Wolf”, who came to Donbass in the fall of 2014 as part of a volunteer communist detachment, told PolitNavigator about this.

“Further war in Donbass is expected every month, probably, if not every two weeks, starting in the fall of 2014, because we know that the Ukrainian army is continuously preparing for this - for a further war, it is continuously mobilizing and gathering troops. The question is: will the Kiev leadership go on the offensive, because we occupy a purely defensive position, we will not go on the offensive, we can only go on a counter-offensive if there is an offensive by Ukrainian forces,” said the LPR serviceman.
According to him, the likelihood of a Ukrainian attack “remains high.”
“The probability always remains high, because they are preparing, and they are preparing for a reason. But there is both a motivation and a deterrent. They understand very well that they didn’t succeed in the summer of XNUMX, they tried, and they ended badly with Ilovaisk and other boilers. They tried to unblock Debaltsevo, this was in the winter of XNUMX, and it also ended sadly for them. They understand that the third attempt could end quite sadly. There is a struggle going on in the leadership there - the desire to finish us off in one fell swoop and the fear that the third attempt will be a complete disaster.”
