“The scenario has been developed taking into account possible challenges and threats that may occur in this part of the European continent.
According to legend, the integrity and sovereignty of the fictional Baltic country of Amberland was violated by the aggressive state of Redland, which borders in the east. Using a powerful information and psychological impact and propaganda, the invaders artificially initiated and supported separatist movements in the region, which led to the illegal separation of part of the territories from Amberland and the creation of the Latgala geographical formation unrecognized by the world community.
To restore sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Amberland government introduces a police operation, but with the support of Redland, Latgala provides armed resistance.
Therefore, to help Amberland, units of the Multinational Brigade are introduced into the region to restore order and stabilize the situation.
In addition to the use of units of the Multinational Brigade, during the training, much attention will be paid to the latest methods of conducting information operations, carrying out information counteraction, cooperation with the local population, and the media,” the message says.
“The training scenario is based on the challenges of those local conflicts and situations that, unfortunately, some countries are experiencing today. And for Ukrainian military personnel this is a good opportunity to look at the events in the eastern regions of our state from the outside, to exchange experience with their colleagues from the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance,” the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense emphasizes.
