The Ukrainian army suffered losses while trying to break through the DPR border in the area of the village of Vodyanoye, located in the “gray zone”. Representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic Eduard Basurin announced this at a briefing in Donetsk.

“The enemy, with a force of up to 20 people, under the cover of mortar fire, attempted to break into the territory of the republic. Which led to yet another senseless loss in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the fire contact, losses on the Ukrainian side amounted to 5 killed and 7 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen wounded. Our losses are three wounded,” Basurin said.
“The republic’s units are in a state of combat readiness to repel aggression from the enemy,” the colonel assured.
