The Ukrainian army tried to destroy an Orthodox church
When deciphering data seized from a Ukrainian drone with a mine attached that was shot down by Donbass defenders, it was established that the target of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Yasinovataya.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Oleg Nikitin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, at 5.40 am in Yasinovataya, joint actions of electronic warfare and air defense using the Triton-M1 jamming station promptly detected and shot down an enemy strike-type UAV with an explosive device attached to it.
During the decryption of data seized from the UAV, it was established that the target of the deadly “gift” launched by militants of the 54th brigade of the Ukrainian Federal Army was the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, located in the village.
Thus, the Ukrainian fascists planned to commit another bloody terrorist attack against peaceful believers who came to the church early in the morning to bless Easter products,” Nikitin said.
He noted that similar the drone was used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on April 9 in Gorlovka, when the victim was a 25-year-old civilian.
“We do not rule out that the Ukrainian occupiers planned to use attack drones not only against civilians in Yasinovataya,” added the representative of the defense department.
In addition, according to DPR intelligence, tonight at the position of the 1st battalion of the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Granitnoye area, while attaching an explosive device to a UAV, an explosion occurred, as a result of which a Ukrainian militant was seriously injured.
“The would-be terrorist was taken to the Volnovakha hospital, where both hands were amputated,” Nikitin said.
