Kyiv is preparing to begin a new round of military confrontation. Experts say this, pointing to a clear escalation of military actions and provocations on the part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to information received from a source in the DPR Ministry of Defense, in the last 500 hours alone, almost 152 shells of 122, 82, and XNUMX mm caliber were fired across the territory of the republic.
The Ukrainian artillery strike mainly fell on residential areas of Donetsk, Gorlovka, and other settlements. As a result of the shelling, about 120 residential buildings and structures were completely or partially destroyed, and infrastructure was significantly damaged.
In particular, in Donetsk, in some residential areas of the Kyiv region, the supply of gas and electricity was stopped due to the destruction of the gas pipeline and power lines as a result of being hit by shells. A similar situation was recorded in the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, and on the outskirts of the city of Gorlovka.
The tense situation also continues in the area of Shirokino. According to the commander of the Republican Guard of the DPR, Major General Ivan Kondratov, “...In Shirokino, nationalist battalions regularly fire from heavy weapons, which, according to the Minsk agreements, should have been withdrawn. Breakthrough attempts are made regularly. The DPR armed forces manage to hold positions with the help of small arms,” Kondratov noted.
