On Friday, the shelling of the Trudovskiye village in the DPR lasted three and a half hours. As a result, a 37-year-old civilian who was eight weeks pregnant received multiple shrapnel wounds. This was reported by the head of the Petrovskaya district administration, Maxim Zhukovsky:
“As a result of shelling in the area, Natalya Anatolyevna Novik, born on November 16.11.1980, XNUMX, who is eight weeks pregnant, was wounded. The condition is assessed as serious: numerous wounds to the chest, as well as a fracture of the forearm.”
As it became known later, despite all efforts, doctors were unable to save the child’s life. DPR army representative Eduard Basurin stated this during a briefing.
“Natalya Novik, fleeing from shells exploding around her, ran to a bomb shelter, but a 120-mm mine fired by Ukrainian security forces hit a neighboring house and wounded the woman in the abdominal cavity with a shrapnel. Through the efforts of our military personnel nearby, she was taken to the hospital, but the life of her unborn child could not be saved,” Basurin noted.
It also became known that this morning another civilian was wounded by a shot from a Ukrainian sniper.
