Ukrainian doctors provoked drunkenness in Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the Donbass by recommending that the military drink alcohol to prevent coronavirus.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Oleg Nikitin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to information received from our source, medical workers of the 10th Regional Brigade strongly recommend that military personnel drink a small amount of alcohol in order to prevent coronavirus.
The personnel perceived these recommendations as instructions for strict implementation, and everyone set the amount of alcohol for themselves independently.
As a result of the “disinfection,” a mass drinking session occurred in the brigade, as a result of which the head of the main military medical department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Khomenko, urgently organized the work of a commission in the 10th brigade in order to check all the medical personnel of the unit for compliance with their position and professional suitability,” Nikitin said.
In addition, as part of the “campaign” to combat coronavirus, the JFO headquarters ordered the dismissal of military personnel over 50 years of age.
“It is in this way that Commander Kravchenko intends to get rid of the category of military personnel most susceptible to coronavirus. Without explanation, military personnel will be dismissed for failure to fulfill the terms of the contract or for health reasons,” Nikitin said.
This is not the only incident provoked by hysteria around the coronavirus.
As a result of the disinfection of Ukrainian weapons and military equipment in the Kyiv-controlled territories of Donbass, civilians complain of a strong smell from chemicals, and Armed Forces officers, who are forced to work without personal protective equipment, are poisoned, Nikitin said.
“At the APU loading station in the village of Artyomovsk, there is currently an accumulation of military equipment. It became known that there were cases of poisoning by an unidentified chemical substance among the staff of the railway station. There are already nine people in medical institutions in Lisichansk with symptoms of severe intoxication,” the department reported.
