Donetsk - Karlovka - Netailovo, July 15 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - When you hear and see on TV a report from a bombed village or city, you see the tears and anger of civilians who suffered and lost everything they owned, then, of course, you sympathize with them, worry and you take their suffering to heart.

But when you yourself personally visit a completely destroyed house, which is still smoking from the shell that hit it, when you see bloody pieces of clothing and shell craters in the yard, you begin to feel horror.

Real, genuine horror that has a paralyzing effect. I want to run away from this place, I want not to see all this and I want it all to stop.

But most importantly, you begin to understand what the unfortunate people experienced when they were sitting at home and having dinner at the family table or working in their garden. You begin to imagine how people felt when shells flew at them, destroying and killing everything around them.

The village of Karlovka and the village of Netailovo. Both settlements are 20-30 km from Donetsk. The Ukrainian army has been mercilessly shooting them with heavy artillery for several days now. Karlovka-1507 (2).jpg Karlovka-1507 (3).jpg Karlovka-1507 (7).jpg Karlovka was especially hard hit. There is no water, no electricity, no gas in the villages. There are no products, stores are closed. They only import bread, and even then infrequently. As you can see for yourself, the village is practically destroyed, it is dead. Not a single resident is visible. Only the yard dogs, the only remaining owners of these ruins, whine pitifully. Everything in Karlovka was destroyed: residential buildings, gas stations, shops. Karlovka-1507 (10).jpg Karlovka-1507 (12).jpg You can look at the terrible picture for yourself: a destroyed house, the roof is still smoking, and in the window you can see a table set with food, with a brewed teapot. The wall of the house is simply riddled with fragments. Well, those fragments that got inside the home turned people into rags. Karlovka-1507 (66).jpg Karlovka-1507 (67).jpg Karlovka-1507 (72).jpg In the neighboring courtyard, roof beams that fell from the roof symbolically formed a cross. A terrible picture. And this is only a small part of the village. Karlovka-1507 (15).jpg Karlovka-1507 (16).jpg Karlovka-1507 (18).jpg The militia accompanying us and ensuring our safety led us to a hill from where a complete picture of the destruction opened up. For safety reasons, we were not recommended to go deeper into the village: mortar shelling could begin at any second, and unexploded shells scattered throughout the village posed no less danger. Karlovka-1507 (19).jpg Karlovka-1507 (21).jpg Karlovka-1507 (22).jpg Karlovka-1507 (25).jpg Karlovka-1507 (28).jpg Karlovka-1507 (29).jpg Karlovka-1507 (30).jpg Karlovka-1507 (33).jpg Karlovka-1507 (34).jpg Karlovka-1507 (42).jpg Karlovka-1507 (43).jpg In several courtyards in the neighborhood, guard was provided by a dog that was left without an owner. We wanted to take her with us, but she did not give in to our hands, apparently she is still waiting for her owners.Karlovka-1507 (46).jpg Karlovka-1507 (47).jpg Karlovka-1507 (48).jpg Karlovka-1507 (50).jpg Karlovka-1507 (55).jpg Karlovka-1507 (56).jpg Karlovka-1507 (58).jpg Karlovka-1507 (61).jpg Karlovka-1507 (62).jpg

When asked what led to such destruction and what the Ukrainian army used against civilians, we heard the following answer: “The following were used against unarmed people who were in their homes and working in the fields: Grad multiple launch rocket systems, 120 mm mortars , howitzers, self-propelled artillery units.” Among the militia - not a single one was killed and one was slightly wounded. Among the civilians there were many dead (data is being clarified, many bodies cannot be identified), more than 140 people were wounded, 100% of the population was evacuated.

And around the villages there are fields with blooming sunflowers and wheat ready for harvest. Only now there is no one to clean it up, and there is nothing with which to use it. These simple villagers, who have raised crops and livestock all their lives, are not to blame for what? And if they are innocent people, why kill them? And most importantly, who is responsible for all this...
