It is reported that the sanctions were applied due to the fact that Dart Airlines collaborated with the Iranian airline Caspian Air.

“For assisting, sponsoring or providing financial, material, technological support, financial or other services in support of Iranian Caspian Air,” the statement said.

The sanctions will be officially published on June 7, 2018.

As you know, the Iranian airline came under sanctions in 2017 due to its support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Let us remind you that on May 30, the United States expanded sanctions against Iran.
