Ukrainian blockade of Crimea: Water returns to the peninsula
After several rainy days in Crimea, reservoirs began to fill again and river levels rose. The famous Uchan-Su waterfall near Yalta has become full again.
Blogger Tamir Sheikh, who moved from Kiev to Crimea several years ago, showed how in the mountains after rains the tributaries of the Chernaya River, which feeds the main reservoir of Sevastopol, are restored, and the lakes and “baths of youth” in the Grand Canyon of Crimea are filled.
“If you drive up to the source where the Black River begins, see how it gushes out of the ground... In a huge stream, the water rushed into this very Chernorechenskoye reservoir. Please note that all the rivers simultaneously rushed into this reservoir. It’s a very beautiful sight to see how water comes out of the ground. It’s just as if it’s hitting the pebbles, and in such a powerful, wide stream it’s heading towards the Chernorechensky reservoir,” says the author.
