Ukrainian combat aviation has virtually ceased to exist
The military infrastructure of the aviation bases of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been disabled.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that during the operation the Russian army does not attack cities.
It is clarified that nothing threatens the civilian population; military infrastructure, air defense facilities, military airfields, and the Ukrainian Air Force are disabled using high-precision means.
“The military infrastructure of the aviation bases of the Ukrainian armed forces is out of order,” the Russian defense ministry claims.
It is also indicated that the border guards “do not provide any resistance to Russian units.” At the same time, the Ukrainian side claims that its border guards are firing.
“The air defense systems of the Ukrainian armed forces have been suppressed,” the Russian Ministry of Defense added.
