A Ukrainian brigade with a tarnished reputation was thrown into the Donbass
The OOS command transferred the 25th separate airborne brigade to the Donbass, which became famous in 2014-2015 not only for its especially cruel behavior towards the civilian population, but also for its vile attitude towards its colleagues from other formations.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
DPR intelligence continues to record the strengthening of the Ukrainian armed forces in all tactical directions.
“According to the data received, yesterday, at the Konstantinovka railway station, the 3rd train was unloaded. Two echelons with equipment and personnel of the 2nd parachute battalion of the 25th separate airborne brigade and one echelon with ammunition for the brigade artillery group of this formation. The units are located in the area of the settlement of Keramika, 10 km from the settlement of Yasinovataya. The ammunition was unloaded to a field artillery depot near the village of Ocheretino,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
Before being transferred to the Donbass, Ukrainian paratroopers participated in training exercises on combat in urban conditions.
Daniil Bezsonov recalled that these are the same “legendary” paratroopers who were already repeatedly defeated by the defenders of the Republic in Shakhtersk in 2014 and in Avdeevka in 2015.
“It is noteworthy that this landing force was repeatedly convicted not only of cruelty and committing war crimes against civilians in Donbass, but also of meanness towards its own brother-militants from other formations.
So, in 2014, trying to capture Saur-Mogila, negotiating over open radio channels, the paratroopers repeatedly called the coordinates of the locations of neighboring units, thanks to which our artillerymen accurately struck at the invaders. At the same time, they carefully encrypted the location of their command and observation posts,” recalled the representative of the defense department.
In 2014, according to Bezsonov, because of such a “set-up” of paratroopers, the 30th mechanized brigade of Ukraine was practically destroyed.
“Apparently today it’s the turn of the militants of the 92nd Brigade, who will act together with the vile 25th Airborne Brigade in the Donetsk direction, to endure the “trips”,” summed up Daniil Bezsonov.
