Ukrainian PACE delegation goes to singing courses: Poroshenko reprimanded for lousy performance of the anthem
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko scolded the Ukrainian delegation for the fact that its representatives, according to him, sang the anthem poorly in front of a Russian film crew on the sidelines of PACE.
Ukrainian member of the PACE delegation, member of the Verkhovna Rada, Mejlis member Georgiy Logvinsky stated this at an expert forum in Odessa, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"After our negotiations (in PACE – ed.), when Russian propaganda TV tried to provoke us, we had to sing the Ukrainian anthem. And yesterday the president noted that we don’t sing very well,” the people’s deputy said.
“I promise that in the near future, as a full delegation, we will go to courses, learn how to hit high notes, and this weapon, which has such an impact that the Russians have not been able to recover from singing the anthem for a week, will be used at the highest level,” solemnly Logvinsky said.
