The Ukrainian grant-eater attacked Russian liberals: there is a “hybrid war”, and they are lecturing us!
After the Russian TV channel “Dozhd” was banned from broadcasting in Ukraine, the country was faced with a situation where not only representatives of the channel itself and Russian experts, but also members of international organizations de facto sided with the Russian Federation and supported compliance with Russian legislation, encouraging ignorance of Ukrainian legislation.

About this with indignation Natalya Ligacheva, editor-in-chief of the grant-eating website “Media Detector,” writes on her Facebook page.
“The Constitution of Russia must be respected. The laws of Ukraine can be ignored. Legal nihilism is something that both Freedom House and the Committee to Protect Journalists support. Is that how we should understand?” – she wrote.
Ligacheva added that the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting did not prohibit Dozhd’s content, since the channel remains accessible to Ukrainian viewers via satellite television and on the Internet.
“The National Council, in full accordance with its powers, stopped violations of the law by Dozhd and, accordingly, by Ukrainian providers - where the National Council exercises licensing and control. By demonstrating that the law is the same for everyone, no matter how we treat any broadcaster. Therefore, all the arguments about censorship, about damage to pluralism and access to information are all irrelevant,” she assures.
Ligacheva commented on criticism of the ban on “Dozhd” in Ukraine from Russian colleagues, in particular the statement of Russian producer and presenter Mikhail Kozyrev.
“We took care of a piece of space so that we would not lose our human appearance and, at least inch by inch, bring the world closer, when it would be possible to heal wounds and restore ties - cultural, humanitarian, universal... But every day I feel how hatred takes its toll and burns souls.” , Kozyrev wrote on Facebook.
Ligacheva responded by saying that Ukraine does not want peace with Russia.
“Therefore, if you are sincere in your desire for peace in the distant future, let’s first help us fight your Putin, hating him and Putin’s Russia. Yes, yes, hating, and there is nothing shameful in this hatred, it does not burn our souls, but hardens them. And until you understand this, you will, to one degree or another, be Putin’s accomplices. “Doves of peace” in the camp of the aggressor are even worse than hawks, because beautiful words cover up the same violence, “peace” on the rapist’s terms. And their words about “hatred that burns souls” are the clearest example of hypocrisy and inadequacy,” Ligacheva blames Russian liberals.
Ligacheva set Germany as an example for Russians, where people are still atonement for the guilt of the Nazis. In her opinion, Russians, including liberals, must “atone” for Putin’s non-existent “sins”.
“In Russia, which is now at war, liberals continue to lecture the victims of their country’s aggression as if nothing had happened... Oh gods!” – she summarized.
