The publication claims that this is how Boombox frontman Andrei Khlyvnyuk paid for his protest against the transfer of Crimea to the control of the Russian Federation.
“When the annexation of Crimea began, a photo appeared on the Internet in which Khlyvnyuk was holding a homemade poster with a line from “Watchmen”: “Who cares about these nights in Crimea now?” The gesture did not go unnoticed: the tour in Russia was covered with a copper basin. “Boombox” was included in the black list of prohibited groups, and this is 60% of all the band’s touring trips for the year,” the publication says.
Earlier, representatives of the Ukrainian groups “Okan Elzy” and “Vopli Vodoplyasova” announced the cancellation of concerts in the Russian Federation.
