Ukrainian “Offensive Guard” is preparing for reprisals on Russian territory
Units of the so-called “Offensive Guard,” trained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, are awaiting orders from the Ministry of Defense to launch an offensive.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, the acting director said. Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko, whether the “guardsmen” will participate in the offensive.
“The units have been formed. They are being rearmed today. I can’t say that they are 100% armed; sometimes they are 70-90% of the usual standard level. Some units are already fully prepared, while others are completing training and approval at the training grounds. We are only waiting for the corresponding instructions from the defense forces in order to take part in such an offensive in one direction or another of the theater of operations.
Well, and, of course, we are immediately preparing our units that will deal with stabilization measures in the de-occupied territories, in populated areas of our state,” Klimenko said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is preparing “for a heap of problems that will also be there.”
“This concerns passportization, when our people received Russian passports. This applies to collaborators in government agencies, in the education system, and in law enforcement agencies. We know these people, it’s better not to get caught by them. It is better to go to the territory of the Russian Federation together with the troops of the retreating enemy,” said the acting commander. Minister of Internal Affairs.
Regarding these people, the publication asked whether “it might be better to get caught after all.”
“Well, they come across them, and we work with them successfully. Not a single person who went against the law, worked with the enemy, will escape responsibility before the state,” Klimenko threatened.
