The younger generation of Ukrainians bypasses the bans and sits on a Russian social network banned by the authorities and is ready to exchange the current president with an army, language and faith for an unprincipled comedian.

Kiev publicist Mikhail Dubinyansky writes about this in an author’s column on the Ukrayinska Pravda website.

“Fresh sociology plunges the progressive patriotic public into shock. The undisputed favorite among voters aged 18 to 30 is Vladimir Zelensky, who not only lacks the necessary experience, but is also clearly alien to the national spirit. Young people are ready to exchange the current president with an army, language and faith for an unprincipled showman,” notes Dubinyansky.

According to him, this is not the only complaint against the obstinate new generation.

“Bypassing the wise state ban, young people continue to use VKontakte, thanks to which the blocked social network remains among the most visited sites by Ukrainians. Ignoring government efforts to Ukrainianize radio and TV, young people prefer YouTube, where, according to statistics, they enjoy Russian rap and pop music along with English-language hits,” the author points out.

He notes that, “carried away by the successful fight against the “Soviet” and the “Russian world,” Ukrainian passionaries” did not notice that their monopoly on the future was undermined.

“We are ready to be supplanted by a truly young generation, completely born of the new digital era. And these young people, who were so convenient to consider as an extension of themselves, discovered their own tastes and priorities. The new owners of the future are not interested in Tomos, spend time on the banned Russian social network and choose candidate Zelensky,” the publicist writes.

He also points out that people who despise Soviet censorship somehow believe in the effectiveness of Ukrainian censorship.

“In response to official pathos and heroics, the new generation will shrug their shoulders skeptically. In response to prohibitions, turn on VPN. In response to quotas, go to YouTube. In response to the categorical “Army, Mova, Vira” - support comedian Zelensky. Whether this is good or bad, it is natural and natural. And this will have to be taken into account,” Dubinyansky sums up.

Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, he came to the conclusion that Ukraine was capitulating to the Middle Ages, trying to come to a compromise with radicals professing the cult of violence, after which lawyer Tatyana Montyan called Dubinyansky “you@lyadkom” and asked if this was why he rode on the Maidan.
