Ukrainian gunner Savchenko is on the verge of death in a Russian prison, - Tymoshenko
Kyiv, January 12 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukrainian serviceman Nadezhda Savchenko, arrested in Russia on charges of involvement in the death of Russian journalists in Donbass, is on the verge of death due to a hunger strike that has been going on for 31 days.
Yulia Tymoshenko stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to her, Savchenko is “in a very severe physical condition”, “she practically does not react” to others.
Savchenko was included in the electoral list of the Batkivshchyna party and, following the election results, became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada. In Ukraine, Savchenko is presented as a victim of “Russian aggression” and a symbol of the Ukrainian struggle.
