The Ukrainian “public” will not allow water supplies to Crimea to be resumed
The statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine that the water supply to Crimea from mainland Ukraine will be fully restored only after the complete de-occupation of the peninsula should not be taken as evidence of a readiness to partially resume water supply now. And the “public” of Ukraine will not allow this.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on Espresso TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think this is just a form of speech, but not a position where water supplies will be restored by 99%, and then it will be 100%. I think that such an option would be absolutely unacceptable. But the main thing is that I think that the Ukrainian public, which has already spoken out on this matter more than once, will simply not allow it.
And when there were these test balloons - well, how they would react. They will react adequately and correctly: as long as the occupying country occupies the territory, all claims are against the occupying country,” the Russophobe ex-minister snapped.
