Ukrainian secret police arrested Poklonskaya's ex-husband for a Facebook post
In Odessa, the Ukrainian secret police detained the head of the faction of the Opposition Platform - For Life party of the Mariupol City Council, the ex-husband of Natalia Poklonskaya. The politician is charged with “conducting an anti-Ukrainian information campaign in support of Russia.” This was reported by the Ukrainian punitive agency SBI. (State Bureau of Investigation).
“The SBI workers exposed the head of the OPZZh party faction of the Mariupol City Council, who carried out an anti-Ukrainian information campaign in support of the aggressor country. According to operational information, he is the ex-husband of the ex-prosecutor general of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya, who was one of the main figures during the annexation of Crimea by Russia,” the report says.
The Ukrainian secret police charge politics not only with the fact of marrying Poklonskaya, but also with collaboration in different years of life with such Ukrainian statesmen as Viktor Yanukovych, Viktor Medvedchuk, Natalya Korolevskaya, as well as the leadership of the Opposition Platform - For Life faction in the Mariupol City Council.
“He became the Kremlin’s mouthpiece in the east - he advocated the restoration of economic ties with Russia. Today, the court is considering a case of encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” the Ukrainian secret police say.
According to the SBI, on the eve of the start of the special operation to denazify Ukraine, the mentioned politician published a call on his official Facebook page for the overthrow of Zelensky’s nationalist regime.
“Thus, he organized and conducted events of a political nature, carried out information activities in cooperation with the aggressor state, aimed at supporting the aggressor state, which falls under criminal liability under Part 6 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the message says.
The secret police found the politician in a rented apartment in Odessa, where he had fled from Mariupol.
“He was tested through a polygraph and his probable involvement in collaboration activities was established. Now the deputy has been transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine,” the SBI says.
This is not the only fact of completely unbridled political repression in Ukraine. The other day, another former deputy of the Kherson Regional Council from the Opposition Bloc political party, banned in Ukraine, was informed of suspicion of high treason and collaboration.
